Misamis University Students Shine in Ozamiz City Charter Anniversary Poster-Making Contest

Misamis University students showcased their exceptional artistic talents in the poster- making contest held as part of the 75th City Charter Anniversary of Ozamiz. The competition aimed to discover and explore the artistic skills of Filipino artists from all across the country. It also served as a platform to showcase and promote the cultural, educational, and tourism aspects of the city.

Philip S. Balatian of Misamis University claimed an impressive second-place finish, receiving a cash prize of P7,000. His artwork captivated the judges with its stunning visuals and powerful message. Fenyl Isis Guigayoma, another talented student from Misamis University, secured a commendable third-place position and was awarded a cash prize of P5,000. Guigayoma's artwork demonstrated remarkable creativity and a deep understanding of the event's significance.

The poster-making contest, a highlight of the series of activities for the 75th City Charter Anniversary, attracted participants from various educational institutions. It served as a platform for young artists to express their creativity and contribute to the vibrant art scene of Ozamiz. Misamis University takes pride in the remarkable achievements of its students and congratulates Philip S.
