Misamis University Faculty Members Participate in Prestigious Summer Program at Kasetsart University
Two distinguished faculty members from Misamis University, Dr. Renzitelo Alf P. Carpio and Mr. Catalino L. Emperio III, were selected to participate in the prestigious Summer School 2024 at Kasetsart University in Thailand. This exceptional opportunity enabled them to take part in an enriching short course program from July 15 to July 27, 2024.
Carpio and Emperio were among a select group of international scholars, with a total of eight participants coming from Russia, Indonesia, Bhutan, and the Philippines, in the Summer School. This diverse group created a dynamic environment for cross-cultural exchange and collaborative learning, enabling participants to share insights and perspectives from their respective countries. The program's activities meticulously enhanced the learning experience by featuring esteemed professors leading classroom sessions, along with immersive visits and field trips that offered firsthand experiences and deep insights into Thailand's politics, economy, religions, ethnicity, cultural heritage, and traditions.
The experiences and insights gained from the Summer School 2024 are expected to enrich Misamis University's educational environment, benefiting the entire community.
