
MU, Where Champions Are Made
The two events, which featured five champion titles and were participated in by the students of the College of Business and Management, shine with golden rays, showcasing excellence in innovation, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurship.
Misamis University College of Business and Management participated in the JAMEX Days 2025 at Tangub City Global College and secured Best in Advertisement. Christine R. Jaleco, Rubie V. Tagaytay, and Jayney J. Viernes won the championship in the Marketing Plan Competition with their project, Green Ember, it also announced as Best Marketing Plan Presenters and Best in Infographics.
Three groups from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program of Misamis University won champion titles during the 3rd PCDEB Regional Business Summit and 1st PCDEB Regional Faculty Development and Business Plan Competition, Friday, April 4, 2025, at La Salle University, Ozamiz City.
For the Food Category of the competition “Urban Bites”, Geraldine Quilar, Zemaica E. Lomonggo, CFMS, Lizzy F. Concordas, CFMS, and Cherie Rose E. Echavia, 4th-year BSBA students, present their version of the famous Filipino siomai, in which the filling and wrapper was made from bamboo shoots as a substitute for meat, and the traditional siomai wrapper.
The Service Category “Kids’ Haven”, is a business idea created by Honey Mae Clapano, Nicole Anne P. Rosauro, and Princess May R. Casiño, CFMS, a 4th year BSBA student. Their business idea is dedicated to those parents who want a safe space for their child, and give them time to enjoy, all while the parents are having their peace of mind, and that is what Kids’ Haven is all about.
For the Technology Category, Bernadette D. Robles, CMMS, Marc Laurence C. Baker, CMMS, Noshin T. Varquez, and Clarence Jay T. Buhisan, made a vending printing machine for their “Imprimere Offprint” business. The idea contributes to helping individuals with printing needs most conveniently and efficiently as possible. This business, if realized, will be a huge contribution to all, who are in constant need of printing services for their academic endeavors.
