Misamis University Tops 17th Business Idea Development Awards Among 70 Universities
Misamis University is proud to announce the achievement of the College of Business and Management during the 17th Business Idea and Development Award (BIDA 2023) in the National Business Plan Competition, hosted by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) which was held on September 21 at Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry McKinley Hills Taguig Metro Manila Philippines.
Out of 70 participating colleges and universities from all over the country, the fourth year Business Administration students, Miss Qeenie Arsel M. Inso and Nova Mae D. Aurigue together with their coach, Dr. Renzitelo Alf P. Carpio secured the grand champion with their winning business plan BAMBOOST ESSENTIAL The Kawayan Quench in the field of Technology. Only the top 2 finalists received the prestigious award for each category such as Food, Non-Food, Service, and Technology.
The competition has set forth to recognize the remarkable ideas in entrepreneurship and creativity of Miss Qeenie Arsel M. Inso, Nova Mae D. Aurigue, and Dr. Renzitelo Alf P. Carpio. Their victory is indeed a proof of commitment, creativity, and persistent pursuit of excellence.
The winners will receive further recognition during the 49th Philippine National Business Conference on October 21, 2023 at the Manila Hotel. This event acknowledges everyone’s effort in fulfilling this endeavor. This also serves as a memorable celebration in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
This achievement is a noteworthy addition to the College of Business and Management’s accolades. The same coach, Dr. Renzitelo Alf P. Carpio, was also able to bring the CBM team at the top spot during the 2nd National Business Plan Competition held last March 24, 2023. Their business plans Bahay Organik and Re-tyre-ment placed first in the Technology and Non-Food Categories, respectively.
