Misamis University Participates in Kasetsart University Hybrid International Conference
Misamis University participated in the 2024 Hybrid KU Social Science International Conference themed “Social Sciences for Sustainable Development: How Social Sciences are Driving a More Sustainable Future for All” on September 5, 2024 at Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand.
Through its partnership with Kasetsart University, particularly the Faculty of Social Sciences, Misamis University actively engaged in the event. This participation provided a platform for MU faculty members to present their research, receive constructive feedback from reviewers, and gain new insights to strengthen their scholarly work.

In addition to presenting research, Misamis University department heads also took active roles as session chairs in the conference. The session chairs were Dr. Lloyd B. Ranises, Dr. Russel Galindo, and Dr. Markdy Y. Orong.
The conference enabled MU faculty and department heads to expand their international dialogue, exchange perspectives, and enhance their research knowledge through feedback from international participants and reviewers. The experience strengthened MU’s commitment to advancing research and fostering global academic collaboration.
