MU Administrators Attend 3-Day Strategic Planning Workshop
Misamis University recently concluded a dynamic three-day strategic planning workshop designed to align the institution's newly formulated philosophy, vision, mission, objectives, and core values. The activity was led by Dr. Cynthia S. Superable, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and facilitated by the Director of Planning, Atty. Anthony L. Awa and Director of Curriculum and Evaluation, Dr. Sammy B. Taghoy. It brought together college deans and department heads along with various stakeholders.
Commencing on February 22 and wrapping up on February 24, the planning sessions were designed to chart a comprehensive roadmap for the university's future growth and development. Participants engaged in collaborative brainstorming sessions and decision-making processes aimed at enhancing the university's academic programs, infrastructure, and overall institutional effectiveness.
The participants delved into intensive discussions, analysis of data, and workshops covering a wide range of topics, including curriculum enhancement, faculty, and staff development initiatives, student services, special projects, infrastructure upgrades, and community engagement strategies.
Dr. Karen Belina F. De Leon, President of Misamis University, underscored the significance of the strategic planning retreat in shaping the institution's trajectory in the years to come.
