Electrical Engineering Achievement
Misamis University proudly commends its Electrical Engineering students for their remarkable achievements at the 20th Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE) Regional Student Conference, held at Western Mindanao State University, Zamboanga City, on October 9–11, 2025.
The MU team earned two major recognitions, placing 2nd Runner-Up in both the Regional Math Wizard and the Regional Quiz Show competitions. Representing the university were Reuben John Baludo, Willy Nacion Jr., Mark Jovell Caparoso, Laurence Ian Guerra, and Michael Andrew Yap, under the guidance of their coach, Engr. Murphy Saumat.
Additionally, Sherwin Lariosa, Benett Hyacinth Gonzaga, and Lyza Ramientos participated as Regional Officer Organizers, contributing to the success of the event
Misamis University extends its heartfelt congratulations to the student representatives and their coach for demonstrating excellence and bringing pride and honor to the university.
