According to the 2025 AD Scientific Index, Misamis University is recognized as the top university in Misamis Occidental and ranks 9th private university in Mindanao.
The AD Scientific Index provides a detailed analysis of academic contributions across various disciplines. This index includes comprehensive data coverage and advanced analysis tools, allowing for a thorough ranking of universities and scientists.
Unique to the AD Scientific Index, universities are evaluated based on the distribution of their scientists across percentiles (top 10%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 90%).
