More than just feeling proud and happy, the entire comMUnity also feels fortunate to be part of the university’s achievements which clearly communicate the university’s commitment to the culture of quality
Misamis University received successive recognitions from the Commission on Higher Education. Misamis University is recognized as: Center of Development for Criminology, Center of Development Information Technology and as a Center of Development Teacher Education.
These national recognitions prove that the qualifications of the faculty, the facilities and laboratories including the research outputs and community extension programs of the university have passed the strict evaluation set by CHED. Further, these recognitions strongly demonstrate the quality of the university’s educational service and her capacity to be at par with other leading institutions in the country.
As CHED recognized centers of development, Misamis University is now considered as a national resource center that will mentor and support other higher educational institutions as she also continues to be a major contributor in national development by producing globally competent graduates.
The COD status of Misamis University for the three programs affirms that Misamis University, indeed, is a home of quality education.
