Misamis University integrates biodiversity conservation into its institutional planning and development by embedding ecological considerations in the Misamis University Community Extension Program (MUCEP) Operational Plan. Every new construction, infrastructure enhancement, and landscape design is carefully evaluated to minimize environmental impact and protect local flora and fauna. By prioritizing indigenous species in campus greening initiatives and aligning development activities with ecological guidelines, the University ensures that growth does not compromise the integrity of surrounding natural ecosystems, including those connected to natural parks.
