Misamis University Receives the Prestigious Autonomous Status Award Again for 2024
In CHED Memorandum Order No. 07, series of 2024, Misamis University was recognized as one of the 77 private higher education institutions granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Notably, Misamis University remains the ONLY AUTONOMOUS INSTITUTION in Misamis Occidental and Northwestern Mindanao, a testament to its unwavering dedication to delivering quality education.
On November 24, 2024, the university officially received this prestigious recognition from CHED during the awarding ceremony held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). Representing Misamis University were Dr. Deanna De Castro-Samaniego, Member of the Board of Directors; Dr. Karen Belina Feliciano-De Leon, University President; and Dr. Cynthia S. Superable, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
This recognition affirms Misamis University's commitment to exceptional education, as it continues to set the standard for quality education and empowers students to reach their fullest potential.
