PACU Convenes Expanded Board Meeting at Misamis University
The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU) held its Expanded Board Meeting on July 18, 2025, hosted by Misamis University at the MU Manor in Ozamiz City through a hybrid setup. The event gathered PACU’s Board of Trustees and representatives from member institutions across the country, with participants joining both onsite and virtually.
Presiding over the meeting was PACU President Mr. Marco Alfredo Benitez, while Misamis University President Dr. Karen Belina F. De Leon formally welcomed the participants, expressing her appreciation for the opportunity to host the distinguished gathering.
The meeting provided a platform for in-depth discussions on current challenges, policy directions, and joint initiatives aimed at advancing private higher education in the Philippines. Reports and updates from various PACU committees were also presented, offering valuable insights into ongoing programs, advocacy efforts, and policy developments.
A representative from Coursera also joined the meeting to present the platform’s features and discuss opportunities for collaboration in advancing online learning and professional development.
