Misamis University College of Business and Management Students Shine at the 19th Business Idea and Development Awards (BIDA) 2025
Misamis University once again takes the spotlight as the College of Business and Management (CBM) students emerged victorious at the 19th Business Idea and Development Awards (BIDA) 2025, hosted by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) on September 29, 2025, at the PCCI Office in Taguig City, Metro Manila.
With the steadfast guidance and support of Ms. Mary Mar B. Lahoylahoy, the CBM students proudly showcased their entrepreneurial excellence through their groundbreaking business plans. Bringing home top recognitions, Eir’s Touch by Mr. Vince O. Reyes and Ms. Sairah B. Amorado was hailed as Champion in the Non-Food Category, while Vert Dynamics by Ms. Christine R. Jaleco and Ms. Chereylie T. Fabian also clinched the title of Champion in the Agriculture Category. Meanwhile, Tres Vulgaris by Ms. Michelle P. Orge and Mr. Cymirkin Magadan earned the distinction of 2nd Runner-Up in the Technology Category.
This year’s victory reinforces CBM’s reputation as a consistent powerhouse in business innovation and development. Over the years, CBM students have continuously stood out in the BIDA competition, proving their resilience, creativity, and excellence on the national stage.
This is not just an achievement but a legacy—one that reflects Misamis University’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young leaders who are not only academically excellent but also driven to create sustainable, transformative, and impactful solutions for society.
