Misamis University Establishes Partnership with National Chi Nan University in Taiwan
Misamis University has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Chi Nan University on May 6, 2026, during the MOU Signing Ceremony held alongside the Hanseatic League of Universities Conference and the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) Global Rankings Ceremony at National Chi Nan University in Puli Township, Nantou County, Taiwan.
Misamis University, under the leadership of University President Dr. Karen Belina F. De Leon, was officially represented by Dr. Lloyd B. Ranises, Director of Linkages and International Affairs, who signed the MOU on behalf of the university. The agreement was signed with National Chi Nan University under the leadership of its University President, Dr. Dong-Sing Wuu, during the ceremonial signing event.
This initiative marks another significant milestone for Misamis University as it continues to strengthen and expand its international partnerships in East Asia. The collaboration is expected to provide more feasible and accessible opportunities for active engagement, particularly in student and staff mobility programs within the region.
The expanded partnership further strengthens the internationalization efforts of Misamis University by enhancing its academic programs, curriculum, and teaching delivery through bilateral and global academic collaboration.
