Misamis University will once again host the MU International Exchange and Cultural Learning Program 2026, a 14-day international exchange program scheduled from June 29 to July 11, 2026.
The program aims to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures through meaningful interactions and effective communication that promote harmony, unity, and global citizenship. It highlights culinary arts and traditional dances as key components of cultural exchange.
The program consists of two phases:
Online Component: June 29–July 2, 2026
Onsite Component: July 6–11, 2026 at Misamis University
During the program, foreign participants and MU students will explore Philippine history, culture, heritage sites, and tourist attractions, while experiencing both Filipino and international cuisines and traditional dances. Through lectures, workshops, interactive activities, and community engagement, participants will gain a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity and strengthen their understanding of different traditions and values.
More than an academic activity, this exchange program provides opportunities for students to build international friendships, broaden their perspectives, and develop intercultural competencies essential in today's globalized world
