Misamis University has achieved another global milestone for 2026!
The Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 ranks Misamis University in the 601–800th place among 1,603 universities worldwide recognized for their sustainability efforts
Specifically, Misamis University’s sustainability performance worldwide is ranked in the following SDG categories:
- SDG 14 (Life Below Water): ranked 101–200th place
- SDG 15 (Life on Land): ranked 101–200th place
- SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being): ranked 401–600th place
- SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): ranked 601–800th place
- SDG 4 (Quality Education): ranked 801–1000th place
This ranking demonstrates Misamis University's commitment to implementing sustainable policies in the delivery of education aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At the national level, Misamis University, along with 13 other Philippine HEIs, is ranked 4th among 160 Philippine universities included in the rankings.
At the regional level, Misamis University ranks as the 2nd most sustainable university in Region X (Northern Mindanao).
