Misamis University Successfully Hosts the 4th International Conference on Biodiversity and Climate Change 2025

The Misamis University, Philippines, in collaboration with Kasetsart University (Thailand), VIT Bhopal University (India), and INTI International University (Malaysia), has successfully hosted the 4th International Conference on Biodiversity and Climate Change (IConBaCC 2025) on September 25–26, 2025, at the Hilarion T. Feliciano Activity Center, Misamis University, Ozamiz City. This year’s conference, held in a hybrid format, carried the theme “Sustainable Peace with Nature: A Global Commitment towards Net Zero.”

This prestigious international event was one of the major highlights of Misamis University's 96th Foundation Anniversary, reflecting the institution’s continuing dedication to global collaboration and sustainability research. Rooted in the vision of its founders, Misamis University continues to champion education, research, and innovation as vital means to address humanity’s most urgent environmental and developmental challenges.

A total of 116 research papers were presented by experts, scholars, practitioners, professionals, and students who shared innovative insights, best practices, and scientific breakthroughs addressing the pressing challenges of biodiversity loss and climate change.
