MU One with the World for Migratory Birds
Here is the full video of the WMBD 2021 Lecture and Workshop with the Selected Sangguniang Kabataan Chairmen of Misamis Occidental, MU College of Maritime Education, DENR-CENRO Ozamiz City, Ozamiz City Maritime Police and ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity. Keynote Speakers Yunalyn L. Villantes and Forester Dennis A. Juab discussed about the essential information about migratory birds and the Philippine laws that were legislated to protect them. The SK Chairmen were also encouraged to formulate conservation and protection activities for the migratory birds, thus an Action Plan Template was presented to them which will be monitored by MUCEP and DENR. After this lecture-workshop, Misamis University with DENR-CENRO Ozamiz City, Ozamiz City Maritime Police and Barangay Officials have conducted coastal clean up in Brgy. Mialen, Municipality of Clarin.
