Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) is a national holiday in the Philippines celebrated every April 9. It commemorates the heroism of Filipino and American soldiers during World War II, particularly those who fought in the Battle of Bataan.
The freedom we enjoy today is because of the courage and sacrifice of those who came before us. We should honor their memory and continue to uphold the values they fought for.
