Misamis University conducted benchmarking activities at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help System (OLPHS) Biñan Campus in Laguna on August 2, 2024 as part of its continuous commitment to academic excellence and meaningful collaboration.
Misamis University conducted benchmarking activities at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help System (OLPHS) Biñan Campus in Laguna on August 2, 2024 as part of its continuous commitment to academic excellence and meaningful collaboration.
The OLPHS Biñan Campus warmly welcomed the MU participants and facilitated discussions, document reviews, and collaborative learning sessions. The benchmarking visit also included a campus tour, allowing MU participants to observe the facilities, teaching resources, and actual operations that contribute to OLPHS’s effective delivery of academic programs.
Additionally, a primary goal of the visit was to explore achievements and key practices of OLPHS, particularly those relevant to Level IV accreditation preparations. Useful insights were gathered from the institution’s documentation, processes, and strategies that support their continuous quality improvement.
A total of 26 representatives from Misamis University participated in the benchmarking activity. The participants was composed of academic leaders, deans, directors, and administrators:

Through this engagement, Misamis University participants gained valuable knowledge, relevant information, and practical strategies that will help strengthen MU’s instructional practices and overall academic operations, especially in preparation for the upcoming Level IV PACUCOA accreditation application. The constructive dialogue between the two institutions also opened promising opportunities for deeper collaboration and future academic partnerships aimed at advancing quality education.
