Mr. Raul L. Pojas Honored as Most Outstanding Secondary School Head in the Division of Koronadal City
Koronadal City, South Cotabato—Mr. Raul L. Pojas, an alumnus of Misamis University, was recently recognized as the Most Outstanding Secondary School Head by the School Division of Koronadal City. This recent award drives him to have positive changes he has inspired within the division.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics in 2002 from Misamis University’s College of Education and Home Economics (now the College of Education), Mr. Pojas has dedicated over two decades to the field of education.
Currently, he serves as the School Head of Esperanza National High School Annex, San Jose Campus, in Koronadal City, where he leads initiatives aimed at improving both student achievement and school operations.
In 2023, Mr. Pojas passed the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) administered by the Department of Education, Philippines. This examination assesses the competencies and preparedness of educational leaders to assume higher responsibilities.
