His storybook, Ang Kakaibang Ilaw ni Silaw, was selected among hundreds of entries submitted from across the country, standing out as one of the ReadExPicks, with only 55 works chosen for this recognition.

After graduating in March 2014 with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education as Magna Cum Laude from Misamis University, he continued his academic pursuits by completing a Master’s in Education in December 2020, also at Misamis University. This academic dedication, paired with his passion for writing, has allowed him to contribute meaningfully to children's literature and education, where his stories are now making an impact on the national stage.
