Celebrating Excellence: MU Alumna Maria Edna Charise Godoy-Java Receives 2023 Asenso Diamond "Gabi ng Parangal" Award

Maria Edna Charise Godoy-Java was recently awarded the 2023 Asenso Diamond "Gabi ng Parangal" award as one of the Most Outstanding Ozamiznons during Ozamiz City's 75^th Charter Anniversary. This esteemed recognition celebrates her exceptional achievements, which have significantly contributed to the transformation and development of Ozamiz City for over 75 years since it was declared a component city on July 16, 1948.

As a distinguished alumna of Misamis University, Maria Edna Charise Godoy-Java's secured the 8th position in the 2008 Nursing Licensure Exam.

Throughout her professional and sports career, Maria Edna Charise Godoy-Java's accomplishments have brought honor not only to herself but also to Ozamiz City. She currently works as Head Nurse at the esteemed Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro Sr. Medical Center (MHARS-MC).
