MU Alumnus JO2 Lino C. Momongan's BJMP Region X Justice Ditalab Team Honored with Prestigious National Awards at Malacañang Palace
MANILA, Philippines — Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Region X Justice Ditalab, which includes Misamis University alumnus JO2 Lino C. Momongan, was conferred Gawad Pagasa award 2025, the country’s most prestigious public service awards during the "Pagpupugay 2025: Parangal sa mga Lingkod Bayani", organized by the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) – Central Office in celebration of its 125th Anniversary on January 28, 2026 held at the Ceremonial Hall, Malacañang Palace.
JO2 Lino C. Momongan is a proud graduate of College of Computer Studies, Misamis University, Ozamiz City, where he earned his Bachelor of Information Technology degree in 2009. His recognition at the national level highlights the vital role of Misamis University alumni in nation-building and public service across various government institutions. The BJMP Region X Justice Ditalab Team received the Gawad Pag-asa Award under the Gawad Lingkod Bayani Category, recognizing the team’s exemplary service, integrity, and commitment to justice and public welfare in the performance of their official duties.
The award was handed over by the Executive Secretary of the Republic of the Philippines Mr. Ralph G. Recto and was formally received by the Justice Ditalab Team led by Jail Chief Inspector Jeza Mae Sarah C. Sanchez, together with team members JO3 Janne Angellei A. Ocaya, JO2 Lino C. Momongan, JO1 Ian Ray S. Anoc, and JO1 Mary Joy C. Go. Their collective efforts stood out among national nominees for their significant contributions to public service and institutional excellence.
