Dr. Candelaria Piamonte Maghanoy Passes May 2024 National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental
The Department of Education has announced that Dr. Candelaria Piamonte Maghanoy has successfully passed the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH), held on May 26, 2024. Dr. Maghanoy, a distinguished alumna of the College of Commerce and Secretarial Administration (now known as the College of Business and Management) at Misamis University, has been appointed as Head Teacher I of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Department at Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades.
Dr. Maghanoy graduated from Misamis University in 2000 and has since built a respected career in the education sector which has now earned her the opportunity to lead the TVET Department. The examination is a rigorous and highly regarded process that assesses the qualifications and readiness of educators to take on administrative and leadership roles in schools.
As Head Teacher I, Dr. Maghanoy will oversee the implementation of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training programs at Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades. Her role will involve enhancing the quality of vocational education, promoting skills development, and preparing students for various technical fields. Her appointment is anticipated to strengthen the department’s efforts to equip students with the competencies required for gainful employment and lifelong learning.
