Misamis University, in collaboration with the University of the Philippines Los BaƱos (UPLB), Laguna, is pleased to announce the Mixed-Methods Research Appreciation Training for selected faculty members, scheduled for March 1, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Function Hall, Misamis University.
Theme:Understanding and Valuing Mixed-Methods Research Approaches
This training aims to:
- Explain the value of mixed-methods research in addressing complex research questions.
- Analyze the key principles, strengths, and challenges of integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Distinguish different mixed-methods research designs and their applications.
- Apply the key steps of mixed-methods research to research projects.
- Construct a methodological matrix aligning mixed-methods research principles with specific objectives, data collection methods, and analysis techniques.
