Library Offense:
A student who violates any library rule may be subjected to fines and/or suspension of library privileges at the discretion of the Director of Libraries. Serious offenses that may merit suspension, exclusion or expulsion are referred to the Department of Student Affairs.
The following Offenses are considered serious:
- Deliberate marking, mutilation or defacing of any library material in any way.
- Unauthorized withdrawal of library materials. Such kind of withdrawal will be considered as theft.
- Misrepresentation or use of another person's ID to gain entrance to the libraries or to borrow library materials.
- Eating, drinking, use of cell phones and other audio equipment inside the libraries.
