Medical Technology Education provides training for the development of Medical Technologist who possess the knowledge, technical skills and attitude to perform scientific laboratory investigation in aid of diagnosis treatment and research required in health care delivery in the country and the whole world.

Objectives

The Misamis University Medical Technology curriculum aims to produce Medical Technologist who

• Demonstrates competence in the clinical laboratory.
• Involves in direct patient services.
• Establishes vital linkage with other technologists to share advances in the medical science or address the present and future health care needs.
• Initiates in the development of and acquisition of new technologies and set directions in the promotion of modern means in the delivery of health care.
• Promotes and provides protection of consumers by exercising outmost care in clinical analyses.
• Shows interest and need for the professional advancement for better health care.
