
MU Education Graduates Receive G.U.R.O Awards
Multiple Misamis University alumni have just been awarded in the 9th G.U.R.O. Awards Plus held virtually on December 10, 2020, on DepEd's websites and social media platforms.
The G.U.R.O. Awards Plus awards, which stands for Growth, Upgrading, Resource Mobilization, and Organizational Effectiveness, are granted to teachers and other school personnel for their exceptional performance during this new normal.

Doone Heart S. Cabuguas, who graduated from Misamis University in 2010 with his Bachelor in Secondary Education Degree, received the Outstanding Senior High School Teacher award. Kristine C. Ocampos, who received the Outstanding Kindergarten Teacher award, graduated from MU with her Bachelor in Elementary Education in 2007. Rowell C. Villarubia graduated from Misamis University in 2006 for his Bachelor in Elementary Education Degree and in 2013 for his Master of Arts in Education Degree, received the Outstanding School Head - Elementary Level award.

Joey Marie S. Revelo was awarded Outstanding Secondary RBI Implementer. Revelo graduated from Misamis University in 2010 for his Bachelor in Elementary Education Degree and in 2017 for his Master of Arts in Education Degree. The TV-BI Outstanding School Teacher (Elementary) award went to Lady Shammah E. Bello, an MU Bachelor in Elementary Education Graduate in 2014.

MU Alumna Anna Jorenda Y. Ocate, who was awarded Outstanding ALS Mobile Implementer, graduated from Misamis University in 1997 for her Bachelor in Elementary Education Degree and 2011 for his Master of Arts in Education Degree. Jovy A. Pingca, who graduated from MU in 2000 with her Bachelor in Elementary Education Degree, received the Outstanding ALS Mobile Teacher award. Ceres A. Seno, also a Misamis University BEEd Alumna, received the Outstanding ALS Implementer award.
