Misamis University hosted the Coordinating Council of Private Educational Association (COCOPEA) Mindanao Summit for K+12 Model and its Tri-Level Implications at MU Manor last January 27, 2011.
It was a well-attended summit participated by presidents, administrators & representatives from private schools in NorthWestern Mindanao. Also in attendance was Congressman Loreto Leo S. Ocampos of the 2nd District of the Province of Misamis Occidental who gave a memorable and inspiring message to the participants.
Dr. Karen Belina F. De Leon, President of Misamis University and COCOPEA Commissioner for Mindanao received many compliments from school presidents & administrators for the efficient and effective organization of the program. Further, the MU Manor, a newly opened Hotel of the University received excellent rating from the participants for the venue, food services and human resource support group.
